Scott was born in Miami and raised in Tallahassee, although he considers himself just as much a kilt wearing Scotsman of Clan Macdonald as he is American. Scott received his A.A. Degree in Film (TCC), a B.S. in Media Productions (FSU), and his M.A. in Arts Administration (FSU) where he also worked with the Master Craftsman Program designing and producing Architectural Ornamentations. Scott was an active performer in high school working with choral groups, acting groups, and the Steel Drum Band. He was a performer with the Renascent Dance Theater and toured with the group The Cruxshadows after directing and helping produce their music video Edge of the World.   Scott was happily married to Nicole Marie Eckstein-Moore in 2006 and together they have a son and soon to be fellow adventurer, Ayden Phoenix MacRae Moore, born in 2007.

Scott enjoys writing, painting, reading, anthropology, filming, and is an avid amateur adventurer.
