Sunshine joined the Division staff in January 2006. She is originally from New Orleans, Lousiana and she grew up in Pensacola, Florida. Growing up, she spent a good deal of her time in the library or watching other people's children; sometimes even both at once.

Sunshine has a bachelor's degree in Information Studies from Florida State University.She uses the skills she learned in her degree primarily to explain what Information Studies means. 

Sunshine loves the internet, reading, tomato sandwiches and her nieces and nephew. She is also rather fond of writing in the third person.
