How to Enter

  1. Use the category list to find the category based on Florida’s Strategic Plan that is assigned to your county.

  2. Become familiar with Florida's strategic plan: Culture Builds Florida's Future.

    Read and understand the Official Contest Rules

  3. Create an original 2-dimensional artwork designed to promote the part of Florida’s Strategic Plan that is assigned to your county. (see official rules for all contest requirements)

  4. Download and complete the entry form (pdf, 120KB) All required information on the entry form must be completed to be eligible.

  5. Attach entry form to the back of artwork facing out. If artwork is too small to attach an entry form to the back, enclose the entry form with the artwork before mailing.

  6. Attach a label to the back of artwork that contains the following information:

    • line 1: category (county)
    • line 2: artwork title
    • [blank line]
    • line 4: student name
    • line 5: school
    • line 6: student city

    For example:

    Leadership (Escambia)
    "Untitled"

    Alex Student
    Tate High School
    Pensacola

  7. Mail entry form (pdf, 120KB) and labeled artwork to:

    Tallahassee, Florida 32399

    Entries must be postmarked no later than January 20, 2009 (extended).

Judging will be based on originality, creativity and ability to promote Culture Builds Florida’s Future in a positive manner. The winning entries will become the property of Florida’s Division of Cultural Affairs and will not be returned. Contestant is responsible for all shipping costs.
