Culture Builds Florida one day conference

The Florida Department of State's Division of Cultural Affairs invites you to participate in a one-day cultural conference in Tampa on October 25, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Floridians who support arts and culture, including arts and cultural administrators, cultural patrons, teachers, students, artists, business professionals and board members are invited to attend.

The conference will provide an opportunity to network face to face and learn about advancing the message that Culture Builds Florida. Culture Builds Florida is a campaign intended to develop unified awareness for Florida's cultural resources and the benefits they bring to Florida.

There is a $15 registration fee for the conference, which includes a boxed lunch, refreshments and meeting materials. First register for the conference , then return to this page to pay the $15 registration fee online via PayPal. All registration fees are final sales; unfortunately we are not able to issue refunds for conference registration fees.

Traveling from out of town?
There is a block of rooms available at Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Downtown for individuals attending the conference. The $93 rate is available for individuals who book at Courtyard before October 10 and mention the group "Cultural Conference." There is an additional $12 fee for valet parking.
