Continental style breakfast will be available for residents only. The chef will adjust menus for vegetarian, kosher and other specific diets. Creativity Workshop - Whether you are an administrator or a classroom educator, teaching K12 or University, in areas as diverse as literature, the arts, psychology, history, the hard or social sciences, the Creativity Workshop can help you design exciting ways of teaching and learning.
Participants do exercises in: sense perception, collaboration, free form writing and drawing, associative thinking, constructive daydreaming, visualization, and relaxation technique. We teach from the point of view that people are by nature creative and that creativity, like DNA, is unique to each individual. We believe that creativity is best served in a playful, nurturing, and non-competitive environment where freedom and focus go hand in hand. We concentrate on creative process rather than product and on the idea of creativity as a way of viewing and appreciating life. Most of all, like the imagination itself, the Creativity Workshop is fun. The Workshop is designed to help you and your students: find new sources of inspiration, break through creative blocks, give yourself the permission and time to do creative work, and develop a daily practice to accomplish these goals. The only requirements for the Creativity Workshop are curiosity about the creative process and a sense of playfulness. Class size is limited. Reserve your space in advance. Classes meet 3.5 hours per day. You can obtain 3 University credits for taking any of these workshops. Workshops in Europe: start at $1,700 for tuition and 9-night accommodations. Airfares are not included. New York City workshops: $750, tuition only. Limited time only $100 off Early Registration for Summer Workshops in Europe (offer good until January 22, 2007) Also, more special offers at: http://creativeseminars.net/specialoffers.html
