An important message for all 2005 Fellowship Recipients...

Aside from the monetary award that you received when you were awarded the fellowship, there is another very valuable benefit to your fellowship award.  All fellowship recipients have been nominated to participate in the Southern Arts Federation, Southern Artistry website.  This website provides information about each artist involved including work samples and biographical information.  This is a great marketing tool for artists- the site has a searchable database and is extremely user-friendly.  To visit the Southern Artistry website: http://www.southarts.org/Southernartistry.shtml

To date, not all artists who were nominated have responded.  If you received a fellowship and have not responded to the Southern Artistry invitation, please do not miss this wonderful opportunity.  If you have any questions about this project and your involvement please contact Morgan Barr at mhbarr@dos.state.fl.us or call 850-245-6356.  At this time Southern Artistry nominations are only open to fellowship recipients and honorable mention recipients, if more openings become available on the site in the future, additional information will follow.
