Workshops are being offered at the following five locations in the month of July- Gainesville, Sarasota, Pensacola, Fort Lauderdale, and Tallahassee.  Details on the workshop specifics can be found on the Division's website at the following link: http://www.florida-arts.org/grants/GrantwritingWorkshops.htm.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL FAPN WORKSHOP!

May 18th was the second annual Florida Artists and Presenters Network (FAPN) workshop held by the Division.  This year's workshop took place in St. Petersburg at the Mahaffey Threatre and proved to be a very productive and informative day for all those who attended.  David Rowell, professor at Florida State University School of Theatre facilitated the workshop and gave very valuable information on artist marketing and publicity.

Attendees received books to help them in their future marketing efforts and had plenty of important time to network with one another throughout the day-long workshop.  Be on the look out for more important opportunities from the Florida Artists and Presenters Network in the future!

The Florida Artists and Presenters Network and the FAPN workshop were funded through a Challenge America Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.  More information on the National Endowment for the Arts can be found at www.nea.gov
