About the Program

The mission of the Cultural Support Grants Program is to foster excellence and diversity in art and culture for all the people in the State of Florida.

Through these grants, the Division encourages a commitment to outreach and educational services to underserved areas and populations and increased access for persons with disabilities.

Funded by the Florida Legislature, the program supports non-profit cultural organizations, recurring cultural programs, museums and non-arts organizations.

Two types of funding are offered: General Program Support and Specific Projects. Organizations can receive funding for either General Program Support or a Specific Project through this program, but not both.

• multidisciplinary
• museums (Art, Science, Youth and Childrens)
• music (vocal, instrumental)
• sponsor/presenter
• community theatre
• professional theatre
