Applicants should follow all instructions and complete the grant application form found in the Cultural Facilities Program Guidelines. Guidelines will be posted on this website approximately eight weeks prior to the deadline date.

Applications must be mailed by the postmark deadline.

Deadline

The application deadlines for the Cultural Facilities Program (CFP) have changed.

New deadlines are as follows:

• Technical Review
  May 26, 2006
• Final Deadline
  June 30, 2006

How is the grant reviewed?

• All applications are first reviewed by Division staff.
  
• The Division will then send Florida Arts Council (FAC) members copies of eligible applications.
  
• The FAC will independently evaluate each application based on the primary review criteria (as stated in the guidelines).
  
• The FAC will then convene in a public meeting to review the applications and form a Priority List for funding recommendations.
  
• The Priority List is submitted to the Secretary of State for approval.
  
• The List is then submitted to the next legislative session for funding approval.
