Hannah Baumgarten, Miami, Florida

Hannah is originally from Santa Cruz, California.  She is a dance instructor at Dillard Center for the Arts in Fort Lauderdale and an Adjunct Instructor at Florida International University's Department of Theatre and Dance.  A Juilliard graduate, Hannah performed lead roles in works of Masters such as Graham, Limon, Taylor, Sokolow, Nikolais, Morris, Humphrey, Harkarvy, and others. 

Her choreography was featured by Juilliard's Choreographer/Composer forum under Pia Gilbert and Liz Keen at the Alice Tully Hall at the Young Choreographer's Concerts at the Juilliard Theatre, and at Lincoln Center's Outdoor Plaza.  She danced in New York with William Adair, and Labyrinth Dance Theater, and in Salt Lake City with Utah Ballet, under the Direction of Conrad Ludlow, Janet Schergen and Joy Feldman. 

Prior to creating Dance Now Ensemble with Diego Salterini, Hannah danced and choreographed in South Florida with Momentum Dance Company, La Rosa Flamenco Theatre, Giovanni Luquini and Dancers, and Karen Peterson and Dancers.  She has taught at numerous South Florida Studios.  Her works have been presented at Colony Theatre, at the Florida Dance Festival, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts Amaturo Theatre, at the National High School Dance Festival, and at other regional South Florida venues.  Hannah works with the Michael Utholf Dance Theatre as rehearsal assistant and principal dancer.
