Since 1986, Caribbean Sound has enthralled audiences with traditional Calypso, contemporary classics, original compositions for the steel pan and world music. Three productions are available for concert series including An Evening with Caribbean Sound- "Island Rhythms," An American Carnival and Caribbean Sound "In The Round." Educational programming includes An American Carnival, a terrific show teaching the history of the steel pan, Caribbean Sound- "In The Round," great for an individual school setting, and the residency program “LifeBeat” featuring hands-on creative activities for kids. All educational programs are suitable for K-Middle School. This one-of-a-kind ensemble offers everyone the opportunity to cross cultural barriers and discover the amazing influences from around the world that shaped the steel pan.
