Kevin Sharpe has given formal recitals at the Kennedy Center, Pan-American Union, and Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall. He has won wide acclaim for his informal recitals and performances. Sharpe’s knowledge of the literature and his warmth in sharing his knowledge, his music, and himself with audiences of all ages sets him apart and has won him a following and invitations to return for longer residencies. Residency activities include performances with a question and answer time for school children of all ages, informal classroom visits, community appearances for audience building at African-American community centers, civic clubs, retirements centers, and nursing homes. Suggestions from presenters expressing their particular needs will be incorporated into any residency schedule.
