Of a recent appearance, Soundboard Magazine said, “Anyone who has not heard Robinson play is missing one of America’s greatest guitarists, a performer of brilliance, elegance, and lyricism.” With his unique ability to communicate with all ages, Stephen Robinson’s performances are perceived as a vibrant part of today’s world mirroring Florida’s wide range of inhabitants. Included will be Fernando Sor’s Grand Solo, Francisco Tarrega’s hauntingly beautiful Recuerdos de la Alhambra, the rock/jazz influences of Libra Sonatina by French composer Roland Dyens, the Australian composer Phillip Houghton’s mythical work Kinkachoo, I Love You, and the flamenco music of Regino Sainz de la Maza.
