What is available?
The State Touring Roster typically contains between 20-30 approved artists and companies.

Who is eligible?
Artists and companies must be Florida-based. For individuals or groups of individuals (solo artists or companies), the roster applicant must certify that they have not formed a for-profit corporation. The company must be professional, operating with full-time paid artistic staff and compensate all artistic, program, curatorial, technical, and managerial staff.

Artists who apply must demonstrate their touring history, provide sample contracts, press releases, and audio-visual materials.
The roster is advertised throughout the state of Florida and to K-12 schools and presenting organizations.

What is the application process?
Applications from Florida-based artists and companies are accepted every two years.  A peer review panel is convened to evaluate and recommend inclusion on the roster. Roster information includes a photograph, fee information, availability, and a description of the touring property.

How are the artists paid?
All touring artists are paid by the presenter; there is no payment made between the artist and the Division. Presenters book and contract with the artists on the Roster, then apply to the Division for fee support to present the artists. Presenters may request either 1/3 of the artists’ total fee, or 2/3 of the artists’ fee, depending on the county in which the presenter is located.
