About the Program

The Underserved Arts Communities Assistance Program (UACAP) fosters the development of underserved arts organizations by providing access to grants for salary assistance, organizational development, and consultancy.

Salary assistance grants are also available to consulting organizations that specifically target underserved organizations and provide evidence of service to such organizations in their particular plan.

The UACAP program is only open to ARTS organizations, which meet basic eligibility criteria and the underserved definition (see FAQs for definitions). Non-arts organizations may not apply to any of the UACAP categories.
