Governor Crist Calls for Task Force to Strengthen Florida's Music Recording IndustrySeptember 24, 2008 Archived: Information and contacts may no longer be correct. The Governor's Office of Film and Entertainment has established a new Music Recording Industry Task Force to identify issues impacting Florida's music recording industry. The Florida Division of Cultural Affairs is assisting the Office of Film & Entertainment to identify Florida artists who have new or established careers in the recording industry. We are particularly interested in those whose professional path is also aimed at film, television and internet media as a vehicle for their musical compositions. The mission of the Division of Cultural Affairs includes assisting Florida artists and arts organizations with development by supplying information about grants, workshops, seminars and other professional opportunities available to them. If you are a Florida composer, songwriter or are involved or interested in Florida's Music Recording Industry, please complete our feedback form to offer comments on current efforts to expand and strengthen Florida's music recording industry, .
