Born in Santa Fe de Bogotá, Columbia, artist Carolina Salazar received a BFA in painting at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Now residing in Miami Beach, Carolina’s work has been exhibited in numerous group shows throughout the state and, in 2001, she was awarded a Florida Individual Artist Fellowship. In 2003, she donated one of her works to the Department of State Art Collection.
