Cecilia Lueza was born in Misiones, Argentina, in 1971. She gained her art training at La Plata National University, in Buenos Aires. Since 1993 her work has been displayed in over forty solo and collective exhibitions in Argentina, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Uruguay, Spain and the United States. Her paintings and sculptures stand in public and private collections in the Americas and Europe. In 1998 she moved to Miami, Florida, to further her artistic related pursuits. Cecilia Lueza's work deals with the romantic tension between men and women and a heightened sense of spirituality, her paintings are incredibly atmospheric and loaded with emotion. Her work undeniably stems from a deeply fertile imagination and a sensitive creative identity; Cecilia Lueza cultivates a vision that fully opens human nature to a consciousness of itself.
