This gallery is dedicated to showcasing Florida artwork that is educational and demonstrates inventive ways of using visual media to convey new ideas and highlight often unheard voices.

"A Cut Above"
by Lucrezia Bieler

December 1, 2009 - February 28, 2010

Lucrezia Bieler, an artist who creates images with a variety of media, is best known for her intricate paper cuttings. She has been awarded “Best of Show” and “Award of Excellence” at the CraftArt Festival in St. Petersburg and has exhibited at more than 40 shows this decade, including three at the Smithsonian.

The Gallery for Innovation & the Arts is located on the first floor of the R.A. Gray Building, the home of the Museum of Florida History, located at 500 South Bronough Street in Tallahassee. The gallery is located to the left of the auditorium.

Saturday
10:00am - 4:30pm

Sunday & Holidays
12:00pm - 4:30pm

Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
