Biography

Jonathan B. Thomas received his B.S. in Biology from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem North Carolina in 1995. He then continued his education and received a Masters Degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Fine Arts/ Printmaking 2004. Jonathan has also taught at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, as well as the University of Miami, and Indiana State University. He has also received several grants such as the Individual Fellowship Grant, Graduate research grant from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, as well as two Artist-in- Resident Grants, one from Plains Art Museum in Fargo, North Dakota and the other from, Anchor Graphics, Chicago, Illinois. Jonathan has also participated in a number of artists visits, such as the University of Minnesota, University of Kansas, and University of Kansas. Jonathan has participated in numerous exhibitions as well.
