The work of Sarasota artist Florence Putterman has been exhibited in several solo and group exhibitions throughout the US and Europe. Her awards include a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and a Distinguished Alumni Award from Pennsylvania State University. Her work is also included in many museum and corporate collections including: Metropolitan Museum of Art and Brooklyn Museum, New York; Chicago Art Institute, Chicago; and in Florida, Jacksonville Museum, Polk Museum, and Gulf Coast Museum. Putterman is listed in Who's Who in American Art and holds an MFA from Penn State.
