The arts are no different
from any other industry - the arts are a business and successful organizations
are those that develop the right business skills. Non-profit cultural
organizations or for-profit small businesses such as an art gallery,
can benefit by the resources listed below.
The Division of Cultural Affairs is not a regulatory
agency, nor does it provide licenses for most arts related, for-profit
businesses. Art galleries, recording studios, etc. are not regulated.
Talent agencies are licensed through the Department
of Business and Professional Regulation.
