Artist and Activities
Kate Carpenter presents original folk music on her guitar. Her lively and engaging programs combine imaginative storytelling, humor, and puppetry. Mrs. Kate primarily targets elementary school age children, but she also offers programming for ages 2-5, and family programs for K-12.
Also offered is a one-hour teachers workshop that offers instruction on creative communication. For upper elementary school age children, an activity called Performing Songwriter as a Career is also available.

Florida Family Folksongs
Using puppets, large photographs, unusual instruments, actions, song, and stories, Mrs. Kate guides her audience on a musical journey through the Sunshine State with interactive songs about Florida birds, weather, swamp critters, and ecology.

An interactive, participatory program of original songs that teach students about kindness and respect. Cheerful attitudes, teamwork, good manners, determination, orderliness, and self-control are emphasized.
