Description

Pablo Cano and Jim Hammond are master artists who offer unique shadow puppet plays. Pablo’s marionette creations have been described as “complete sculpture” that take on a life force. Jim is the managing director of Puppet Network, and is a theatre designer and producer who has worked as one of the puppet masters in the National Broadway Tour of The Lion King. Together they have written, directed, and designed Dog which uses a miniature style of overhead projector shadow puppetry. Dog brings together art education and entertainment suitable for ages 10 and up.

Educational activities include a variety of workshops with hands-on for teachers and students, lectures, artist Q and A, Puppet Manipulation Workshop, and Puppet Production and Design Workshop. Study guides with Sunshine State Standards are available.
